Weekend Adventures

I hope everyone had as great of a weekend as we did! We were quite productive as well as had tons of fun while doing it. I'm going to do a picture recap instead of writing it out. It's just more fun that way. However, I will say that this move has by far been the easiest I have ever done (and I've moved 8 times in my life.) We have so many friends up here that it really doesn't seem like we moved! It's been such a blessing!

(Note: some of these pics were from my phone)
Friday afternoon we took a picnic lunch to central park - we ate, read, watched people and slept
Then we went back showered (although you couldn't tell by the time we walked out of our place since there is a heat wave up here) and went to the Yankees game! It was so much fun with a great win to finish on. Thank you, S&T!!
Saturday, we went for a loooong walk up to Hell's kitchen and went to the flea market where I purchased an awesome jewelry chest (I'll sand it and paint - another post) then went to Union Sq to the farmer's market!
There were booth after booth of brooches/pins!!! I'm going back this coming weekend now that I'm back to making jewelry!!
After church we went with some of our new friends to the Chelsea flea market and I found these lovelies! (I'm going to change out the smokey glass to clear glass) Then we went to SoHo and had brunch with our friends. Then finally later that afternoon met up with some other friends and hung out until we realized that it was a work night!!!! Yes, that's right - today is the first day back for Hubby after 2 years of pure freedom. Everything he's worked for starts today. We woke up early, made Hubs breakfast and sent him on his way! Good luck, babe!
Now I'm actually going to begin lugging all my jewelry supplies out of their random boxes...
