Love this Country

This weekend we celebrated our country and all the heroes that have fought for our wonderful country! Thank you!
We had a great long weekend. We got out of the extremely hot city and explored some nature, had a few rooftop gatherings, fun sidewalk dinners, played in Central Park, saw some of Fleet Week, and finished by watching The King's Speech. (I highly recommend it) It was a pretty great weekend! So here's the photos from a few of our activities...

Rooftop food & drinks - champagne, pound cake and blueberry pie (healthy)
Beginning of an amazing sunset
Free tours of the Aircraft carrier!!!

Lunch outside overlooking the Hudson River at this place.
The hiking group + dog
You can almost see how hot it is in Central Park

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day, as well.

  2. I'd love to know 2 things....

Where did you go for the hike?

Where did you get those donuts?

We love to hear about new adventures in and out of NYC.

  3. We went to Cold Springs (a tiny little antique-ing town)- take metro north an hour away and the doughnuts are from Dunkin Doughnuts. haha
