Fabulous Finds

This past week got away from me. Most of it was spent finishing some jewelry and trying to learn about advertising. There is so much stuff out there that I don't know where to begin! So it was nice to take a break this past weekend. Normally, I take a nap at least once during the weekend however, there was no time for sleeping. We had dinner with friends, baseball games that lasted over 5 hours, going to the Raleigh flea market and then girl's trip to see Kenny Chesney!! (It was so much fun!)

I could spend all day at flea markets, however my husband only can handle 2 hours so I get what I can. It's normally "hit or miss" but I found some amazing items this weekend! So now I'm back to working and trying to be creative with the fabulous finds.

Here we go again...

Ok, so last night at the Bruce's baby shower I discovered that tons of my friends all have blogs that they update regularly. Who knew?! So I figured I should give this another try even though I don't have anything to talk about and I get a bit nervous when I think about anyone besides people I don't know reading this. (Not sure why I would want strangers reading in stead of friends.) Maybe I'm just afraid I'll sound stupid or boring... I don't have anything going on in my life worthy of constant updates. I live in an apartment so we're not allowed to do any changes there, we're not having a baby (although I feel like we should since 95% of everyone we know are or have :) and I spend most of my days alone in my white-wall apartment making jewelry. However, I do have an amazing husband, family, friends and an adorable nephew that is now 4 months old!!! I wish I could see him everyday! Alright, so I am committed to update this at least twice a week and see how it goes... Here's a pic of Spencer, my nephew!

New camera and new SALE!

I'm back and have a few changes! I have finally gotten a new incredible camera which takes great pictures as well celebrating with a sale of 20% and free shipping until Saturday. I can't wait to get rid of some of my inventory so I can focus on FALL! Who can believe that fall is only just a month or so away?! Here comes football... until then check out the website!

Nevermind

Nevermind with the chain reaction as before because yet again it is cold! It's not raining which is wonderful but definitely not 'sit outside and take pictures weather.' Maybe in April! However, this has given me the time to focus on designing new peices of jewelry and get some reading done. I am trying to "do" the Love Dare book which proves to be more difficult than one would think. I was stuck on the kindness day for about 4 days. (Maybe I was grumpy from not being able to go outside :)) Or maybe we aren't as good as we think we are...

Off to watch Obama's speech...
