By the first picture you would think this might be a tutorial on how to paint a shirt, right? Wrong. This is anything but painting a shirt. I started out thinking it would be fun to "paint" a shirt with the Little Man during my trip down to Florida. I basically just wanted to have fun painting with him and then get his hand print on the shirt. Well, we actually did both of these things and sooooo much more! And by so much more, I mean we painted everything in sight. Including ourselves...

This is what we started with

We started out hard at work and quite focused (also some of us not wearing many clothes)

Then things turned silly (note - Little Man did not eat this and was not poisoned)

He did tell me he wanted to be in the Blue Man Group!

Then things really started to turn messy

We had so much fun and got so messy that I never even thought about taking an "after" picture of the painted shirt. Maybe Sis will take a pic and send it to me - hint hint.

Ever wish you had the freedom and fun as a 20 month old? After being with little man a few weeks ago I can't say I don't think he has a pretty great life...

Partaay!!!

Doesn't this just melt your heart?! It does mine but I'm also his Aunt so I'm a bit biased. We got this adorable invite in the mail when we returned home from our overwhelming NYC trip. I can't believe this little guy is already turning 1!!! Time flies (after the first crying month) haha Seriously though, little Spencer has changed our family's world. His bday is actually next week but his little party is this weekend. I am absolutely devastated that Hubby and I can't attend. I have searched and searched for affordable plane tickets but it seems there are none to be found! If anyone has a ticket for this weekend and wants to trade it for jewelry - I'm game! :) I can only imagine how fun and cute this party is going to be... lots of hide and seek, playing in the dirt, walking with hands in the air and chasing chunky little thighs. I hope that Sis takes lots of video and pics and then actually puts them up on their blog!!! (Yes, I believe that was a public call-out of a much needed blog update sis.) I can't wait to hear about their fun 1 year old party!

Fall Break

Well, yesterday was the beginning of Ben's Fall Break (aka interviewing time) which I am now also tagging along. We're down in Orlando staying with my sister, bro-in-law and adorable and playful nephew! While the rest of the clan was at work or interviewing Leah, Spencer and I went to baby music class. It was hilarious and just plain cute! They each had their own musical instruments which they loved! We sang and freely danced around with the rest of the moms and babies. haha Tonight we are going to the pumpkin patch!!! I'm absolutely that proud and obnoxious Aunt! :) Here are some pics from yesterday.
