Newness

There have been so many great new things in the past 3 months. A new city. New wonderful friends. A new huge park. A new church. A new bible study. A new neighborhood. New bead and chain shops. Basically I could keep this list going on and on since everything is new when you move to a new city! However, its been so so nice and FUN! I didn't think a move could end up being this fun. Hubs and I have been trying to venture out of our neighborhood and learn more about our city. So Friday we went over to Park Slope, Brooklyn for a new and delicious dinner. (Saturday is not worth mentioning due to the horrible losses of both Florida and Tennessee) Sunday, however was spent in our new park - also known as Central park. It actually felt like Fall with a crisp coolness in the air. So we took a run and ate a footlong hotdog. Yes, they go together. Then we went back home and I made the first batch of pumpkin bread this season. Then it was off to our new bible study with our new friends. On our way home it started to sprinkle and Hubs wanted to take the subway so we wouldn't get caught in the downpour. I convinced him that we had time and should walk...Not so! We completely got caught in the downpour 8 blocks from our apartment. So if there is a post about catching a cold later this week, you'll know why. :)

I hope yall had a wonderful Fall weekend! Here are some Central Park pics form the iphone.

  2. Saturday? Terrible day. College football is overrated. Yes, I'm bitter.
